Fire crews tackle kitchen fire

FIREFIGHTERS wearing breathing apparatus tackled a kitchen fire at a flat in Warrington, earlier today, Wednesday.

Shortly after 8am Two fire engines from Warrington and Birchwood attended to a fire at a flat on Harrison Close.



Crews, wearing two breathing apparatus, used a hose reel to put out the flames.
The fire was in the kitchen and involved an oven.
Everyone inside the property was accounted for.
Crews were in attendance for approximately 55 minutes.
