Local Artist and teacher Gail Stubbings from Blooming Art, Warrington, says she was humbled after winning a Cheshire Community Foundation “Community Champion” award.
Gail said: “Winning the CCF Warrington award is simply amazing. It will mean so much to so many people at BloomingArt.
“CCF support so many wonderful charities and community groups, they do an unbelievable job.
“Sitting in a room full of so many kind, considerate and amazing people was ever so humbling.
“I can’t thank everyone enough as we’ve been given so much love and support from day dot. We couldn’t do what we do without amazing tutors, art assistants, volunteers, clients, students, associates, friends, parents and
the wonderful support we get from our Warrington community.
“So to everyone like us who strives to help others and make a difference keep doing what you are doing, you’re all-stars!”
Cheshire Community Foundation raises funds to support hundreds of small charities and voluntary groups across the whole of Cheshire and Warrington.
They connect people and companies with the most effective grass-roots charities, helping those most in need, whilst enabling their donors to feel proud that they’ve made a real difference.
Since 2012, CCF has awarded over £8 million in grants to strengthen local communities, supporting more than 1,451 local, grass-root organisations.
Meanwhile Blooming Art’s NCFE Level 3 Applied Art & Design, supported by Art & Design and Photography level 2 Exhibition is up and running at The Gateway in Warrington until July 26th.
Funded courses housed and taught at Bloomingart, are funded via the Learning Curve Group.
