A dream has come true for Warrington Ryland’s Wembley hat-trick hero Elliott Nevitt after signing to become a full-time professional at Tranmere Rovers.

Nevitt, who helped Rylands lift the FA Vase at Wembley, moves on with the best wishes of everyone at the club after completing a dream move into full-time professional football.

Nevitt had been linked with Crewe Alexandra, Port Vale and Accrington Stanley since his goal-scoring heroics at Wembley.
Tranmere boss Micky Mellon said: “Elliott is a signing that I want everybody to understand, since I was a player at Tranmere, we have always been very good at finding local talent that we were able to polish up, add fitness and present them with the opportunity to be a professional footballer.”
The Liverpudlian joined Warrington Rylands last year having played for Burscough and City of Liverpool FC in the past.
Commenting his dream move Nevitt said: “I’m so happy and I’m made up to be honest. I found out after Wembley, there were a few others, but Tranmere was the main one for me.
“I’ve always wanted to be a pro all of my life so now it’s just about working hard, getting as fit as the boys and doing what I can do.
“I’ve heard a lot about the fans, I’ve heard it means everything to the fans and they love hard work, so I’m going to do everything for them.
“Scoring a hat-trick at Wembley was the best feeling ever and I couldn’t even describe it, and it was crazy.
“I’ve played in non-league for about five years now. I played for City of Liverpool, played for Warrington Rylands and before that I was in college, and I went to the Dallas Cup and played there twice.”
