Two fire crews called out to smoke-logged property

FIREFIGHTERS were called out last night to a smoke-logged residential property in Warrington town centre after a fire alarm was activated.

Two fire engines attended from Warrington and Penketh shortly before 10pm last night following reports of a fire alarm activation at a residential property on Scotland Road in Warrington town centre.



On arrival at the scene, the crews found smoke logging in the foyer area.
Upon investigating the smoke firefighters found a fault in an electrical control box.
The crews isolated the electrics and were detained at the scene for around 90 minutes.
