Firefighters rescue deer trapped in railings

FIREFIGHTERS helped rescue a deer stuck in railings on Manchester Road near Warrington Cemetery at around 7am on Sunday morning.

Two fire engines attended from Warrington and Lymm, along with the animal rescue unit from Lymm following reports of an animal trapped in railings on Manchester Road, Warrington.



On arrival, the crews found a deer that was trapped in a metal fence.
Firefighters used metal cutting equipment to release the deer, which was passed to the care of a vet and moved to a safe location.
