Firefighters called out to fire in the open at Longford

FIREFIGHTERS were called out to deal with a fire in the open at Longford, Warrington at around 4pm this afternoon.

One crew from Warrington was called following reports of a fire in the open on Marron Avenue, Longford.



On arrival, the crew found rubbish well alight.
One hose reel jet was used to extinguish the flames.
Meanwhile, firefighters were also called to a fire in the back garden of an address in Armour Avenue , Orford during the early hours of yesterday.
The crew used a hose reel to put out the fire.
