POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a collision involving a motorbike and car resulted in the closure of Knutsford Road, earlier today, Thursday.
A road closure was put in place at 10 am this morning while emergency services attended at the scene following the collision near the Co-Op on Knutsford Road.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “At 10 am today, police were called to a collision involving a motorbike and a car on Knutsford Road in Latchford.
“The collision occurred near to the Co-Op and emergency services are at the scene.
“Knutsford Road at Bridgefoot has been closed.
“The rider of the motorbike and the driver of the car have been taken to hospital to be treated for their injuries.
“Anyone with information on the collision can contact Cheshire Police on 101 or via the website quoting IML 1006314.”
The road has since re-opened.
