Fire crew called out to tackle chip pan fire at Oakwood

FIREFIGHTERS were called out during the early hours of this morning to tackle a chip pan fire at Oakwood, Warrington.

Shortly after 1.30 am Firefighters were called following reports of a fire at a property on Admirals Road.



On arrival, the crew found that the fire had involved a chip pan that had been removed to the back garden by the occupier.
A salvage sheet was used to extinguish the flames.

In another incident at 9.20pm last night Firefighters were called following reports of a small fire at a park off Hallfields Road.
On arrival, the crew extinguished the fire with a water backpack.
