WARRINGTON Hospital has sadly reported its first COVID-19 related death for a week while five new cases have been confirmed in the town.
The 5 (6) new cases in the latest daily update from Public Health England, means the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington since the start of the pandemic is now 17,807 (17,802).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days and other areas of the UK, are currently not available but yesterday they were 59 (67) – 28.1 (31.9) per 100,000 population, showing a fall in new cases over a seven day period for a third day. This compared to the national rate of 27.2 (28.1) per 100,000.
