Firefighters tackle suspected arson attack on garage and two fires in the open at Latchford

UPDATED: FIRE crews were called out to tackle a suspected arson attack on a garage and two fires in the open at Latchford, including a large bonfire on Knutsford Road.

At 04:21 this morning two crews from Warrington and Stockton heath were called out to a garage fire in Logdin Street, Latchford.
On arrival, the crew found one garage well alight.



One hose reel jet was used to extinguish the flames.
Firefighters were in attendance for around 30 minutes.
The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.

Shortly later at 04:35 one fire engine from Lymm was called out following reports of a fire in the open on Grange Avenue, Latchford.
On arrival the crew used one hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
Meanwhile, last night at 20:36 one fire engine from Lymm was called following reports of a fire in the open on Knutsford Road.
On arrival the crew found a large bonfire.
One hose reel jet was used to extinguish the flames.
