Fire crew tackle heater fire at Latchford property

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire in an electrical heater underneath a sink at an address in Knutsford Road, Latchford, Warrington earlier today, Wednesday.

One crew from Stockton Heath was called out shortly after 4.30pm and used a dry powder extinguisher to put out the fire.



They then used a large fan to disperse the smoke. A thermal imaging camera was also used to check for hotspots.
Meanwhile in another incident last night one fire engine from Warrington attended a rubbish fire which found well alight on Troutbeck Avenue, Bewsey.
Crews used water to put out the flames.
