FIREFIGHTERS were called out during the early hours of Sunday morning following reports of a fire in the open at Bewsey, Warrington.
At 2am firefighters were informed of an outside fire in Bewsey Farm Close.
On arrival, the crew discovered that it was a small bonfire.
Firefighters extinguished the fire with a hose reel jet and were in attendance for less than five minutes.
🔥 Recently we are seeing an increase in fires involving fly tipped or littered rubbish, this ties us up from attending any serious incidents in the area. 🔥
📞 You can help reduce these by reporting fly tipping to the local council on the following link https://t.co/6mICW4Rn0i pic.twitter.com/Qt17jWIKQ0
