Appeal for witnesses after elderly woman suffers life-threatening injuries following collision with cyclist

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a serious collision in Warrington left a woman in her 80s with life-threatening injuries, following a collision with a pedal cyclist.

Officers were called just before 4.30pm yesterday, Monday 22 March to Enfield Park Road following reports of a collision involving a cyclist and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a woman, aged in her 80s, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. She remains in a critical condition.



The cyclist stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have captured CCTV, dashcam footage or witnessed the incident.
