TWO fire crews were called out last night to tackle a large skip blaze near Penketh last night.
Shortly after 7pm two fire engine attended from Penketh following reports of a large fire in a skip off South Lane.
On arrival, the crew found a quantity of rubbish well alight in the skip.
One hose reel jet was used to extinguish the flames.
The crew then damped down the area.
