FIREFIGHTERS were called out after a wood burning stove started a chimney fire at Padgate, Warrington.
One fire engine from Birchwood after firefighters were called to a fire in a wood burning stove at an address in Winfrith Road, Padgate.
Crews used chimney rods to clear a blockage in the flue, and ladders and a hose reel jet to tackle the fire from outside.

Crews attended a Fire involving the metal flue of a Wood Burner Stove. Ladders & Height Safety equipment were used to access the chimney from the roof so water could be applied & a check for any obstructions.
