Three fire crews called out after bin fire causes large amount of smoke

THREE fire crews were called out this morning following reports of large amounts of smoke on a car park in McKee Avenue, Longford, Warrington.

Shortly before 7am firefighters were notified of an outside fire in Mckee Avenue, Longford, Warrington, involving large amounts of smoke on a car park near Millbrook Court.
Crews from Warrington, Penketh and Birchwood attended at the scene.
On arrival, crews discovered that it was a small fire in a bin.
Firefighters extinguished the fire with a hose reel jet and were in attendance for around 15 minutes.
