ONE more COVID-19 related death has sadly been reported at Warrington Hospital since yesterday, with 25 new cases confirmed in the town continuing a downward trend.
The 25 (22) new cases in the latest daily update from Public Health England, means the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington since the start of the pandemic is now 17,380 (17,355).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days, previous days/updates in brackets, are 156 (166) – 74.3 (79) per 100,000 population, continuing a downward trend over a seven-day period for a third consecutive day.
This compares to the national rate of 59.1 (58.9) per 100,000.
