One more COVID-19 related death and 75 new cases confirmed in Warrington

ONE more COVID-19 related patient has sadly died at Warrington Hospital since yesterday while a total of 75 new cases have been confirmed in the town, continuing a downward trend.

The 75 (35) new cases in the latest daily update from Public Health England means the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Warrington since the start of the pandemic is now 16,245 (16,170).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days, previous days/updates in brackets, are 579 (597) – 275.7 (284.3) per 100,000 population, continuing a downward trend over a seven-day period.

Covid-19 positive inpatients 181 (180) of which 22 (20) are in ICU
Total number of tests (inpatients/community) cumulative – 60,039 (59,675)

Discharges of positive patients (excluding deaths) cumulative 1,580 (1,570)

*The highest number COVID-19 positive inpatients during the first wave was on 12th April with 124 patients of which 18 were in ICU.

The total number of deaths in Warrington within 28 days of a positive test reported by Public Health England is currently 441 (436) 210 per 100,000 population.
The total number of deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate in Warrington reported by Public Health England is 480 (452).

  2. Stay away from Warrington hospital people I’ve heard of at least 10 people who have caught covid whilst in there for minor illnesses X this makes me me sad and also mad
