Planning permission sought for 27 houses on vacant site near M62

OUTLINE planning permission is being sought for 27 houses on vacant land off Mill Lane, Houghton Green, Warrington.

Developers L2 Property have put forward proposals which they claim will bring about an overall improvement of the area, with access from Mill Lane.
The site is currently largely grassland and trees, with a number of old, disused and dilapidated timber buildings. It lies close to the M62 motorway.
It is within walking distance of bus stops although it is proposed to provide two car parking spaces for each dwelling.
