Firefighters help rescue duck tangled in tree

FIREFIGHTERS helped rescue a duck that was tangled in a tree at a pond in Rixton, Warrington, earlier today, Saturday.

One fire engine attended from Lymm shortly before 9am at the pond on Moat Lane, Rixton, following reports of a duck being tangled in a tree in a pond on Moat Lane.
Two swift-water technicians used a raft to reach the duck.
Once the duck was released it was handed into the care of the RSPCA.
