FIVE Paddington neighbours are celebrating after winning £1,000 each thanks to their lucky postcode – the second lucky street in Warrington in less than a week.
The Holly Grove neighbours netted the windfall when WA1 3HB was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Saturday 30th January 2021.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Jeff Brazier sent his well-wishes to the winners. He said: ‘I’m delighted for all of our winners in Warrington. I hope they enjoy spending the win and treat themselves with the prize money.’
A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
This draw was promoted by Postcode Innovation Trust. Its mission is to support charities and social enterprises to deliver impactful, innovative and engaging initiatives across Great Britain. The trust provides support and funding to charitable organisations that support the furtherance of their aims. Postcode Innovation Trust is a grant-giving body funded entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
Many good causes close to the winners have also benefitted from players’ support, and local charities can apply for funding this year.
