Police and Trading Standards officers check town centre premises are COVID-19 safe

POLICE and council Trading Standards officers were out in Warrington town centre last night ensuring licensed premises were COVID-19 safe.

They were joined by 10 members of Cheshire Police Special Constabulary team on duty in the town centre.
They were all working in partnership with regular colleagues and Warrington Borough Council Trading Standards, to ensure people and licensed venues were keeping covid safe.
Chief Constable Darren Martland also joined the team.
Meanwhile, police at Orford are reminding parents to check on the whereabouts of their children after receiving reports that youths were setting fireworks off on Orford Park last night.
At Lymm officers attended at The Cross to move on a small group of youths who were causing issues in the village.
Also, a 41-year-old male was arrested in the village yesterday morning for breaching a non-molestation order on a number of occasions.
