TWENTY-One neigbours in a Warrington street are celebrating today after winning an early Christmas bonus thanks to their lucky postcode.

The Winchester Avenue neighbours in Great Sankey, netted a £1,000 windfall each when WA5 1XX was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Wednesday 16th December 2020.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson sent his well-wishes to the winners. He said: “Brilliant news for all of our winners today in Warrington! Congratulations, I hope you enjoy spending the cash!”
A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
This draw was promoted on behalf of Youth Music which has received over £6.5 million worth of funding from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery. Youth Music is a national charity investing in music-making projects for children and young people experiencing challenging circumstances. Many good causes close to the winners have also benefitted from players’ support, and local charities can apply for funding next year.
