One more death and 74 new COVID-19 cases as upward trend continues

ONE more patient has sadly died at Warrington Hospital since yesterday after testing positive for COVID-19, while 74 new cases continue an upward trend in the town.

The 74 (72) new cases in Warrington in the latest daily update from Public Health England takes the total since the start of the pandemic to 8,839 (8,839).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days are 309 (294) – 147.1 (140) per 100,000 population – showing a continuing upward trend in infection rates over a seven day period for a fifth consecutive day.
