Police carry out COVID-19 compliance checks on licensed premises around Warrington

POLICE have been out in Warrington town centre and around the town carrying out COVID-19 compliance checks at licensed premises as part of #Opjingles.

Officers from the beat team and special constabulary were out in Warrington Town centre conducting licensing and Covid compliance checks at licensed premises.
Identified breaches will be passed to the local authority to take further action.
Meanwhile, local officers were out and about in Lymm village where one male was arrested for being drunk and disorderly following an altercation outside The Saddlers Arms.
