STAFF at a Warrington care home have been nominated for awards in one of the care sector’s most prestigious awards.

Four members of the team at Three Bridges Care Home in Thelwall Lane have been shortlisted in The Great British Care Awards, North West Region – a series of regional events throughout the UK that celebrate excellence across the care sector.
The purpose of the awards is to pay tribute to those individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work.
Becky Sampson and Keri Lee have qualified in the Dementia Carer category, while Mel Tinsley goes through to the next stage in the Activity Organiser category. Danielle Johnson was also successful in the Care Home Worker category.
The 21 award categories represent all areas of the social care sector, whether it be older people or specialist services, residential or home care. From frontline staff such as care workers and care managers to people who have made an impact in other ways such as training and innovation.
Becky, Danielle, Keri and Mel were nominated for their dedication to residents at the home and for going above and beyond in these unprecedented times. They are all delighted to have reached the second stage of judging and look forward to the announcement of the winners at the 2020 National Finals which, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, will be held virtually April 24.
Three Bridges Care Home provides specialist nursing, dementia, dementia nursing, residential and short-term respite care and is part of Orchard Care Homes’ portfolio of homes in the North of England and The Midlands.
