No COVID-19 deaths reported for second consecutive day but 45 new cases confirmed

NO further COVID-19 deaths have been reported at Warrington Hospital for a second consecutive day while 45 new cases have been confirmed, returning to a slight downward trend of infection rates.

While Warrington Hospital do not update their data locally at weekends, information from NHS England shows no reported deaths for December 3rd and 4th, although there can be delays in reporting at weekends.
The 45 (33) new cases in Warrington in the latest daily update from Public Health England takes the total since the start of the pandemic to 8,388 (8,343).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days are 273 (281) – 130 (133.8) per 100,000 population – which shows a slight decrease in infection rates, following the small increase yesterday.
