Family escape unhurt after bedroom fire

THE occupants of a house at Warrington escaped unhurt when fire broke out in a bedroom.
The blaze was at a property in Hawleys Lane, Bewsey and two fire engines were sent to the scene shortly before 7pm last night.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames. A ventilation unit was used to clear smoke from the house.
Crews were at the scene for two hours.
