Warrington Rylands 1906 launched their 2020/21 NWCFL campaign with a 3-2 away win at Northwich Victoria.
Second in the premier division table when the 2019/20 season was cancelled, Rylands fell behind to an 18th minute Matt Birchall goal. The Blues equalised in the 32nd minute when Andy Scarisbrick back heeled a Paul Shanley cross past the keeper.
Birchall restored the home side’s advantage in the 54th minute, with substitute Freddie Potter equalizing from the penalty spot in the 67th minute, just two minutes after being introduced into the game.
Another Rylands substitute Callum Lees netted the match winning goal in the 88th minute heading home from close range.
The club have also released details of their 2020/21 season tickets priced at £100 for adults and £50 for concessions which will guarantee supporters entry to all 19 of the Blues’ scheduled Premier Division home games at a saving of 15 per cent on match day admission charges.
