Firefighters tackle wheelie bin fire at Padgate

FIREFIGHTERS were called to tackle a wheelie bin fire shortly after 10.30pm at Padgate, Warrington last night.

The crew used a hose reel jet to put the fire out at a property on Woodvale Close and were at the scene for 15 minutes.

Earlier in the evening, a fire crew was called out to deal with a fire involving an electric bike on Legh Street, Warrington.
One fire engine attended from Warrington. A hose reel jet was used to extinguish the fire shortly after 9.15pm.
The fire was caused by a battery on an electric bike and firefighters were at the scene for 10 minutes.
