Firefighters tackle garden fire which got out of control

ONE fire crew from Warrington was called out yesterday evening after a small garden fire got out of control.

The crew was called shortly after 8pm, to reports of a fire in a garden on Longshaw Street, Warrington.
They attended and found a small garden fire had got out of control. They used a hose reel jet to put the fire out.
in Another incident shortly before midnight fire crews from Warrington and one from Penketh were called to a fire outside a flat on Whitecross Avenue.
Firefighters, wearing breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet to put the fire out and were at the scene for half-an-hour.
