Fans can still watch Rylands in the FA Cup on Saturday

FOLLOWING the introduction of increased COVID-19 restrictions in the Warrington area from Saturday, Warrington Rylands 1906 have advised their FA Cup tie at Gorsey Lane will go ahead on Saturday with a maximum of 300 spectators in attendance.

A statement released by the club stated: “We have enacted considerable measures to ensure our Gorsey Lane ground is Covid 19 secure and the welfare of players, staff and supporters is protected.”
“We have carefully considered today’s restrictions announced by the Government and after dialogue with relevant authorities can confirm the FA Cup second qualifying round match with York City is currently going ahead with spectators in attendance.”
Playing at this stage of the competition for the first time Rylands have announced all tickets have been sold but anyone wanting to watch the game it is being shown live on the BBC Sport website, Red Button and BBC iPlayer, kick off 3pm.
