Woman arrested after drunken rumpus on a bus

A woman was arrested yesterday evening by Warrington Police for allegedly being Drunk and Disorderly on board a bus at the Bus Station.

She is alleged to have caused a “drunken rumpus” on the bus and refused to get off.
She was transported by an alternative vehicle to the town’s police station.

Meanwhile a man and woman were also in the cells this morning for drink driving related crimes.
A male was arrested on A57 in Hollins Green for alleged Drunk Driving while a female was on arrested Kingsway South for alleged Drunk in Charge.
