Motorist who was driving under the influence had baseball bat as weapon

A motorist arrested while driving under the influence on Winwick Road, Warrington, earlier today was found in possession of an aluminium baseball bat.

The male driver was arrested and taken into custody accused of possessing an Offensive Weapon, driving Otherwise Than in Accordance With a Licence and Driving Whilst Unfit.

In another incident a woman was arrested at Boots in the Town Centre for alleged Theft – false eyelashes and other cosmetics worth more than £130 – she was also found to be in possession of child clothes from H&M.
She was bailed to appear at court in September 2020.
