FIREFIGHTERS from Warrington were called out last night following reports of a car being on fire in Hardy Street.
Shortly before 10.30pm Firefighters turned out to reports that a car was on fire in the passageway behind Hardy Street.
They arrived to find that there was no car involved, but that a mattress was alight, and so they used a hose reel to extinguish the flames.
