WHILE no further COVID-19 deaths have been reported at Warrington Hospital for an 11th consecutive day, two new cases have been confirmed in the town in the last 24 hours, according to the latest daily figures from Public Health England.
A total of 1,331 people have now tested positive in the Warrington area which equates to 635.2 per 100,000 population – an increase of two on yesterday’s figures.
A total of 136* patients have sadly died at Warrington Hospital, along with 197 people in local care homes, two patients at a hospice and three people at home, taking the town’s death toll to at least 338.

· As of noon Thursday the hospital had tested 11,050 (10,143) in-patients/community of which 1,190 (1,182 ) have tested positive.
· The hospital was caring for 4 (3) in-patients who have tested positive for Covid-19 of which there was 1 (0) Covid-19 positive patient in ICU
· They have discharged 376 (372 ) patients and sadly 135* (135 ) have died.
Across the UK the daily number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths was 11, taking the total number of deaths to 45,312.
The daily number of lab-confirmed UK cases was 580 taking the total number to 295,372.
