THERE have now been no new COVID-19 related deaths at Warrington Hospital for a week, although one new case been confirmed in the last 24 hours.
A total of 130 patients have sadly died at the hospital along with at least 96 people in local care homes, taking the town’s death toll to at least 226.
The total number of Warrington residents who have tested positive for COVID-19 at the hospital is 807, a rate of 385.1 per 100,000 population.
As of noon (Thursday) the hospital had tested 8,334 (7,432) inpatients/community of which 1,164 (1,151) have tested positive – not all are Warrington residents. Last week’s figures are in brackets.
They were caring for 9 (17) inpatients who have tested positive for Covid-19.
There was 1 (2) Covid-19 positive patient in ICU.
They had discharged 358 (347) patients and sadly 130 (128) have died.
Daily average patients through A&E was 205 (199) and for Runcorn Urgent Care Centre was 54 (46)
Across the UK the daily number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths was 36, taking the total number of deaths to 443,550.
The daily number of lab-confirmed UK cases was 901 taking the total number to 311,151.
