Bush fire accidentally started by weed burner

FIREFIGHTERS were called out to deal with a bush fire at Old Hall, Warrington, which had accidentally been started by a weed burner.

The incident took place on Raleigh Close, Old Hall, Warrington shortly before 2pm.
One fire engine attended from Stockton Heath and on arrival the crew discovered that the fire involved bushes outside a domestic property.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and were in attendance for more than 20 minutes.
The fire is believed to have been started accidentally via a weed burner.
