No new COVID-19 related deaths reported at Warrington Hospital although nine new cases confirmed

THERE were no further deaths involving COVID-19 related patients reported at Warrington Hospital in the latest daily updates, although there were nine new cases confirmed.

The number of patients who have sadly died at the hospital is 109, while at least 75 people have died in local care homes, up to the week ending May 8, taking the town’s death toll to at least 184.
The total number of confirmed cases now stands at 712, an increase of nine from yesterday.
As of noon Thursday, the hospital had discharged a total of 247 patients.
Across the UK the Daily number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths was 468 taking the total number to 34,466.
The daily number of lab-confirmed UK cases was 3,451 taking the total number to 240,161.
