No new COVID-19 related deaths at Warrington Hospital but five new cases confirmed

THERE were no new COVID-19 related deaths reported at Warrington Hospital in the latest daily figures, although five new cases were recorded, taking the total of confirmed cases to 693.

The number of patients who have died at the hospital remains at 108, while 75 people have died in local care homes, up to the week ending May 8, taking the town’s death toll to at least 183.
As of noon Monday, the hospital had discharged a total of 235 patients.
Across the UK the Daily number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths was 428 taking the total number to 33,614
The daily number of lab-confirmed UK cases was 3,446 taking the total number to 233,151.
