Three more patients die at Warrington Hospital as confirmed COVID-19 cases approaches 500

THREE more patients have sadly died at Warrington Hospital after testing positive for the COVID-19 virus as the number of confirmed cases in the town approaches 500.

At least 62 people have now died in the town after testing positive for coronavirus, with 25 new cases taking the total to 497 confirmed cases.
The figures do not include deaths at care homes where at least five people are known to have died.
The number of confirmed cases in Warrington do not include those self-isolating at home with symptoms.
Across the country the number of deaths of patients in hospitals who have tested positive for COVID-19 was its lowest for three weeks at 616, taking the national death toll to 18,738.
There were 4,538 lab confirmed cases taking the total to 138,078.
