Children’s Rainbows brighten up Warrington’s Own Buses

PICTURES of rainbows have been appearing in houses across Warrington during the Covid-19 outbreak and now they are being displayed by local bus company Warrington’s Own Buses.

Many of the posters are drawn by the town’s children who are keeping positive while staying at home.

The town’s bus drivers have spotted the pictures as they drive by and are now showing rainbows of their own.

The rainbow pictured was done by Sebastian Mead, the six-year-old son of bus company Head of Commercial Gareth Mead, who said: “We wanted to acknowledge all the pictures of rainbows we’d seen in houses across the town. We thought that by responding with a picture of our own, it might pass on a good feeling.

“We worked with Mckenna Brothers, who are the UK’s leading supplier of bus information displays to print and fit the drawings.

“If you’d like to send us your pictures, please do so through our website as we’d love to see them and might display yours too!”

The bus company has recently been praised for providing free travel to NHS and Health and Social Care workers, as well as to older people throughout the Covid-19 crises.
