THE pioneering Warrington Buyers Club app, launched by local entrepreneur Sam Fox is going from strength to strength and has now been short listed for a national technology award.

Sam, who also helps run local family business Warrington Mortgage Centre based in Penketh, launched the app last year to encourage local people to “shop local” and support businesses based in Warrington.

Now six months on from its launch the app has over 3,300 local users that are being rewarded daily with the most fantastic offers from local businesses.

Members can now benefit from over 320 local businesses, encouraging you to buy local, and save money along the way.

This month there are new offers from:

A la Turka – 20% Off Food
Piccolino – 20% Off Food
Village Hotel – 25% Off Food
The Loft – 25% Off Drinks
Gin Ally – 15% Off Drinks
Bus Stop Bistro – 10% Off Food
Woyo – 10% Off Food

Meanwhile Warrington Buyers Club has also been shortlisted by National technology Awards for Retail tech of the Year. This prestigious event is held in London on the 7th May and it is up against the likes of BT and Interflora.

Sam said: “We’re truly humbled by the support we’ve been shown so far and we know that this is just the start of our journey in Warrington.”
