Burtonwood & Winwick Community Bus service relaunched

THE Burtonwood & Winwick Community Bus service has relaunched after four months off the road due to expensive repairs.

Cllr Cathy Mitchell, who leads the Charity, said “Thank you so much to Amazon for helping us out with the repairs and we are very grateful to Warrington Borough Council for their continued support for this important scheme”

Gavin Windsor, who is Site Leader at the Warrington Omega Amazon site, said “We are proud to be part of the local community and delighted to support this much loved service and understand how valuable it is to local residents.”

The Council’s Cabinet Member for Neighbourhoods, Cllr Tony Higgins said “The Council are delighted to support this scheme, which benefits residents of Burtonwood and Winwick every day, helping to combat loneliness.
