WARRINGTON’S new Cineworld cinema is to bring a festive charades pop-up market stall to the town centre.
The charades pop-up will surprise shoppers in the Golden Square Shopping Centre who will be encouraged to take part in a film charades challenge, with all those taking part winning a prize.
Santa’s little helpers will be on hand to keep the festive celebrations going and make sure that everyone gets  a present.
Members of the public simply need to guess the film charade and then spin the “cine-wheel” for a prize. Prizes on offer include gift cards, Christmas Gift Boxes (which include a movie night for two, plus food), popcorn and pick n’ mix.
One lucky winner each day will also walk away with a grand prize of a Cineworld Unlimited Gift Box, which entitles them to a year of Unlimited movies at Cineworld and more.
The event takes place on Saturday and Sunday, December 28 and 29, from 11am to2pm and 3pm to 5pm.
Sonia Trayford, Cineworld Warrington’s general manager, said: “We are looking forward to introducing ourselves to the people of Warrington and spreading some extra Christmas cheer in the heart of the local community with our Cineworld charades booth. We are passionate about bringing joy to local communities and at Golden Square Shopping Centre we’ll be doing just that, with bells on our toes. We hope to see you there, and we look forward to welcoming you at our brand new state-of-the-art cinema at Time Square over the holiday season.”
