CHRISTMAS has come early for a Lymm family who saw their home almost destroyed in a devastating fire two years ago.
On the morning of Saturday, November 25, 2017 the Taylor family experienced a devastating house fire which destroyed the roof and first floor of the property leaving the house inhabitable.
But now almost two years on thanks to local builder Carl Palmer from Urban Building Projects and a team of appointed specialists in fire restoration the family are back in their home in time for Christmas.
The family had been left devastated by a blaze which ripped through their home in Lymmhay Lane off Danebank Road during the early hours of a Saturday morning.
More than 30 firefighters were involved in tackling the blaze.
Pete Taylor who lives at the property in Lymm with his wife Kirsty and their three children said:” Following a lengthy tender process Urban were awarded the contract to reinstate the property.
“Carl Palmer and his team appointed specialists in fire restoration from all over the country to collaborate reports which helped in the rebuild so that every inch was checked.
“As the owners we were delighted with Urban’s management informing throughout the rebuild.
“The finished result is fantastic , due to the materials and workmanship involved.
“The whole project took almost two years to complete and we are extremely greatful to Carl Palmer for making this happen.”
Carl said: “The project was different for us as we had to liaise with Loss Adjustors and Insurance Companies to ensure that the client received the best restoration project we had set out for them. I am happy at the end result and glad that the Taylor family can have a great Christmas at home this year.”
