POLICE closed Bridge Street and advised people to avoid the area following a roof top disturbance on Wednesday evening.
Lower Bridge Street was closed at around 5pm and emergency services were called to the area following reports of a male being on the roof of Bridges bar, throwing roof tiles off the building and threatening to jump.
The police helicopter was also seen circling the area.
