POLICE are investigating an incident of anti-social behaviour in a park at Lymm last night.
Firefighters were called to Ridgway Grundy Memorial Park following reports of a fire at a skate park within the park. It involved a quantity of plastic garden furniture which had been deliberately set alight.
Firefighters used a water backpack to extinguish the blaze and were at the scene for about 10 minutes.
Police were notified as the incident was related to anti-social behaviour in the park.
Firefighters were also called out to a wheelie bin on fire in Linnet Close, Warrington.
Police were informed as it was suspected to be an incident of arson. A water backpack was used to put out the fire.
