A BRIEFING session for EU citizens living in Warrington has been arranged at the Waterside Pub, Centre Park, Warrington.
It will take place on Wednesday, May 15 at 7.15pm.
Working with the EU Commission, the Warrington for Europe group has arranged the solicitor briefing session,
Group chairman Graham Gowland (pictured) said: “Brexit has created uncertainty in the lives of the 9,000 EU27 citizens that live in Warrington. Many have been asking questions about what their rights are now and what they are going to be in the future. The contents of the Draft Withdrawal Agreement confuse our MP’s and are even more of a concern for EU citizens.
“Warrington for Europe has arranged a solicitor briefing session on EU citizens’ rights. It’s an impartial, politically neutral information session on EU citizens’ rights and the European Parliament elections, and there will also be a question and answer session. If you have a question on how Brexit will affect you, it should be answered.”
Mr Gowland stressed that the meeting would be an advice session for EU citizens and was not a Brexit or EU elections campaign – a chance for people to find out accurate information.
