Traffic held up on A49 by emergency road works

TRAFFIC is being held up on the A49 Winwick Road outbound due to a collapsed BT chamber.
According to Warrington Borough Council, BT are already on site conducting emergency repairs but the works are unlikely to be completed until tomorrow evening. One lane has been closed
The council is liaising with BT and will issue updates on progress.
